Beyonce Releases “Yours and Mine” (VIDEO)

Beyonce releases a short film with images from her self-titled visual album. In the film she speaks about her troubles, triumphs, and worries in the music industry.

Before watching I was ready for unlimited bitching about how hard it is to be famous and how she yearns for the simpler things. Well I won’t lie there was a small amount of it but then she said she didn’t want to sound like a victim.

Which was refreshing because she understands she is the property of the public due to her career choice.

She spoke candidly about her mother being a “pleaser”. Also revealing that made her feel like she had to be a “fixer” as well. Of course she celebrated her daughter and the love of her husband.

Stating that out of all the things she doesn’t own she has that love in which she doesn’t have to share with anyone else. Beyonce tapped into her sexuality by saying she was selective about who she “showed” her body to.

That was a little hard for me to believe in that industry as we all remember the Camron record. Either way it doesn’t matter in the end. All and all it was a cool short film but it was just like the one she did for HBO.

She said a lot but revealed nothing again. So if your plan was to learn anything more about Beyonce you won’t. At this point in her career Beyonce could just stop and raise her daughter.

Then after a while she would be able to go to the store like normal people but if you keep exposing yourself for your craft it makes those simple things grow further away. Thoughts?
