Chubby Girls: Need Some Inspiration for Clothing Looks! Here They Are!

I am always on the hunt to be fashion forward to fit my chubby frame. So I found a couple of good ideas while surfing images on the internet. I saw some styles I can copy that will compliment all my “wobbly bits” lol. I wanted to share with you all some of these fashions I have found. We all know that it is hard to shop on a budget and look good as a chubby girl.

Most department stores that carry our sizes carry the clothes that no one wants to wear. Then the store is always segregated. The Chubby Girls to one side please with all the flowers and loud colors and the skinny people to the other where all the clothing options make sense.

That is the issue right there. Why when you walk into a store the bigger people clothing is on one side and the smaller people are on the other? I swear the thin side has all the cute clothes. So here I am shopping on my side full of over sized yellow flowers, but then I glance to the left only to see that everything is better on the smaller side. Why is this the message the department stores and society send you as a full figured woman? You can’t hide from being called fat. They find a way to sneak that in.

Then when you go into stores like Lanye Bryant or Ashley Stewart they dress you like an old lady going to church. The retail world is saying there is no place for us chubby chicks but the gym to aspire to be someone who society says is better. Some women are perfectly happy at their sizes and have no desire to be skinny and live very healthy lives. Why can’t they make modern, fashion forward, and fresh clothes for us?

I know what you are thinking, Jersey they do make those clothes. You are right but they cost an arm and a leg to buy. No one yet has come out with a full figured line that was affordable. At Ashley Stewart everything is 50.00 and up same for Lanye Bryant. Like why is my shirt 50.00 and it’s not even Ralph Lauren? This is outrageous. So this is what I do. I go to Marshall’s, TJMaxx, Old Navy (online), and Rainbows. They have moderatly price clothing and it lasts if you take care of it. So that is where I will be going for these looks I found.
