DJ Envy Admits to the Affair but Not Really: Peep the Report!

DJ Envy went on the air (breakfast club 105.1 fm) and admitted to the relationship with Erica Mena of Love and Hip Hop. Here are his statements in regards to the affair.

He told his listeners:

It’s a difficult thing to do. Sometimes being married it makes you insecure dude. I looked like I had everything. It was scary, my wife is gorgeous. She might need somebody that’s smarter than me. It made me insecure.

With being insecure, with me being weak. I was so insecure and so down..I started messing with somebody that was beneath me. A bird. Evil. A liar. Somebody that was desperate and it’s just so pathetic. I mean I didn’t have to feed this person. I didn’t have to make her feel special, because she wasn’t. So that’s what it was.

What he said about the state of his marriage:

With the help of God, this situation has made my family tighter. Like tighter. I’m honest. I had to be honest with myself. And the hardest thing I had to do was tell my wife EVERYTHING. When I say everything. She looked at me so different. To look at my family. So you guys follow me on twitter. We’re good. We’re not great. I don’t know what happens from here. Now if we remain together, as a relationship, we’ll see. But as a family, nobody’s stopping us. I just want to tell you ‘I love you. And we’ll see what God has in store for us.’

Now he didn’t say Mena’s name in the response to the affair but he does say his relationship with his wife is up in the air. I find it interesting when men get caught cheating the female who they did the dirt with is all of sudden beneath them, pathetic, and desperate. What that says to me is you’re trying to find away to take the heat off yourself and put it onto someone else. DJ Envy is not taking full responsibility for his infidelity. I would have completely respected this response if he hadn’t involved her in it. Just admit your part in the cheating and man up.

It was DJ Envy’s responsibility to respect and love his wife at the end of the day. He was married this young lady was not. She didn’t have any loyalty to his wife but he did. So whatever her insides are is completely irrelevant. If insecurity was his cop-out he should have spoken to his wife about it not found another female to feel his voids. He should own his fault and stop trying to receive sympathy by displaying her short comings.

Don’t get me wrong I am not a fan of Ms. Mena from watching the show but she should not be blamed for something he encouraged as a married man especially if he lied to her by saying he wasn’t. Honestly I think this situation would have been buried had she not been coming out with a book. I think the pressure was put on due to this book (Underneath it All by Erica Mena) exposing the truth about their relationship in my opinion.

Anyway you already know flex had something to say about it peep his response…he is hilarious!
