Evelyn Lozada: First Interview Since The “Incident”

Evelyn Lozada sat down with ABC news to talk about the incident on August 11, 2012 where she claims that Chad Johnson head butted her. Lozada explains that Johnson was asked about the condom receipt and he replied he brought them for a friend. She states in the interview she knew he was lying and said “her marriage was the laughing stock!” then soon after her statement he grabbed her by the shoulders and head butted her. I don’t believe that is all that happened nor do I believe it is Chads temperament by watching the show. In our society as a woman we can say a man did just about anything and he is at fault and hauled away to jail.  If anyone remembers that episode of Basketball Wives when Chad went to lunch with a “friend” and she drove past and saw him having lunch she cursed him out to high heaven . Yet he sat there contently without showing any anger. I mean she cursed him out pretty badly and yet his response was that’s my friend. She was overly animated yet he was cool. calm, and collected. So for me to believe she found this receipt for condoms and went to him and tried to have a respectful conversation is very hard. Does Evelyn ever have respectful conversations or does she jump on tables, throw bottles, or hit people with a clutch bag? There was no security in that house when she found that receipt so I am sure she was being herself. They show a clip of that argument as well in the news the report where she was angry about the lunch he had. I must hand it to her the public relations team she hired is good. They have her walking through the streets of New York by herself and sitting alone on a park bench all deep in thought like she is having this define moment of clarity and sadness about her life as an ex-wife. She also stated in the video despite her perception on Basketball Wives that has nothing to do with the day of the incident. My final point before you watch the coverage is I’ve had stitches before as a child in my hand and I still have the markings of the scar on my pinky finger that shows I had a gash in my hand. When I look at her forehead I see a small dot on her head but nothing serious. I thought if they were going for the sympathy card they would’ve gone so heavy on the make-up to let the scar show. As for Chad it really sucks that he lost everything and I hope he can rebound from this.
