Foxy Brown has denied reports that she referred to fellow rapper Jay-Z as a ‘tranny chaser’ and is threatening legal action, it has been reported.
The 33-year-old rapper, spoke to TMZ about the rumour which had been doing the rounds on the Internet.
It had been reported that Foxy, real name Inga DeCarlo Fun Marchand, attended a baby shower where she started questioning the rapper’s sexuality and claimed she lost her virginity to him when she was 15 and he was 27.

But Foxy has slammed the claims, saying: ‘The atrociousness of this story sickened me to my stomach. Any and everyone involved will be contacted by my attorney.’
She added: ‘In all my years in the music industry, these are the most disgusting and disrespectful allegations I’ve ever experienced. This fictitious story … with no audio, visual or written interview, clearly was concocted with malicious intent.’

Jay has only been wonderful to me and my family, a great friend throughout all the years I’ve known him and we had nothing but great success as a team.’
She continued, ‘Beyonce, his wife, has always been gracious and sweet to me … I will not let any undercover hater create discord and disrespect my name and reputation.’
Jay-Z had worked with Foxy Brown at the beginning of her career in 1997, when he rapped on one of her biggest hits I’ll Be.

They collaborated again in 1999 on the song Bonnie & Clyde (Part II) which featured on her multi-platinum second album Chyna Doll.
It has been rumoured that the pair briefly dated each other during the time they worked together.
In 2005, Foxy was hit with health problems when she began suffering from hearing loss, putting her musical career on hiatus until 2008 when she released her fourth album Brooklyn’s Don Diva.
Aside from her healthy problems, Foxy has also run into trouble with the law on numerous occasions.
On March 6 2000 the female rapper crashed her Range Rover in Brooklyn and was arrested for driving without a license.
She was convicted of spitting on hotel workers, punching a policewoman in the stomach in Jamaica and attacking two manicurists during a dispute over the $20 fee that she refused to pay.
