Jay Z New Music “Open Letter” Timberland and Swizz on the Beat!

Jay Z and Beyonce recently were in Cuba celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary. While touring the country Cuban civil rights activists were angry due to them being hosted by the Cuban government.   Cuban Activists then took it a bit further by launching a full investigation against him and wife to see if they were even able to be in Cuba at the time.

What caused the uproar between Jay Z and the politicians is the fact that Cuba has a communist government. The very idea of Beyonce and Jay Z being hosted by the Cuban government led activist to believe they were in agreement of how the country is being ran.

The US government said that Beyonce and Jay Z’s visas were okay to visit the country at that time in question.

Jay Z released a statement via song called “Open Letter”. He talks about supposed charges from the US government and also speaks about how he loves Cubans (cigars). Listen to the record and tell me what you think?
