Kanye West is Being Sued for Copyright of “Gold digger”

Kanye West is being sued over the lyrics of his hit “Gold digger”. David Pryor who owns a portion of the song due to the sample of “Get down, Go ahead Get Down” claims that West didn’t get full clearance for the sample. Pryor is now suing for damages and for the song to never be sold again.

When I read this I was like David Pryor has to be kidding? Did he not hear his voice eight years ago when the record was released? Kanye just can’t catch a break this week between Pryor trying to sue him and Ray J ” hitting it first”. Although Ray J reportedly claims the song isn’t about Kim Kardashian but we all know it was.

Hopefully they can settle the matter without it being taking off the shelves. Just in case if you don’t have “Golddigger” you better downloaded before it’s gone.
