Don’t worry, Little Monsters: Lady Gaga is recovering and ready to give you new music. Gaga’s manager said the singer is “doing wonderful” a month after undergoing hip surgery.

In February, Gaga canceled her Born This Way Ball due to chronic pain from a show injury. On Twitter, she wrote that she’d tried to hide the pain in fear of disappointing her fans, but it had worsened to a point where she could not walk. She underwent surgery on February 20 to mend a “labral tear of the right hip” and was last seen making recovery quite fashionable with her 24-karat gold wheelchair.

Gaga’s manager, Vincent Herbert, said in an interview Tuesday that she is “doing unbelievable” and is “ready to get back to work” on her new album, ARTPOP.

On February 21, Gaga posted a big thank you to her fans via her Little Monsters website, writing that the stories of the adversity they’d faced gave her strength during her procedure.

“As they wheeled me into surgery today, I thought about all of your pain and perseverance, your unique family situations, school environments, health issues, homelessness, identity struggles — sometimes you are so brave that it terrifies me. I wonder how it’s even possible. So I thought to myself, I’m alive, I’m living my dream, and this is just a bump in the road. I’m grateful because this is temporary, and for some it is not. You have changed my life. I love you and am proud to be a part of your lives. If you can do it, I can do it too, and if we stick together we can get through anything. Love, Gaga.”

The tour cancellation also halted the Born Brave Bus, which was on the road in support of Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. The foundation’s goal is to inspire bravery and promote self-acceptance among young people, and Gaga described the bus tour as “a fun tailgating experience for Monsters to unite.”

However, on March 14, it was announced that the bus was starting back up and embarking on a four-city tour. On Saturday and Sunday, it will stop in New York City’s Times Square, and next Wednesday, the bus will park at Chicago’s Navy Pier.

As for Gaga herself, she has been working with producers, including newcomer Zedd, on an album that Herbert called “very, very refreshing.”

“I can’t wait for the world to hear her new music and see her come back healthy, strong and better than ever,” he said.
