Let’s Talk New Jersey!
The trip to New Jersey was tiring, awesome, and emotional all at the same time. I was so excited to get on the plane to reunite with the people I love. Going through the airport has now become a HUGE part of my life. Being married to an international business man makes it difficult to stay put. Seeing those beautiful countries makes it all worth it.
Anyway, we check our bags at United Airlines. Which was 25 dollars coming and going for one bag. The bags had to be under 50 pounds and if it was over they wanted to charge you a 100.00 dollars for the extra weight. I was like wow yall tried it for real! After leaving check in we relaxed at the Mango Taco Truck. The Mango Taco Truck is a cute little latin eatery in the middle of terminal C. The taco’s there are described in one word AMAZING!
The roasted pork and the chicken were slow cooked to perfection then placed on a warm tortilla. The chicken tacos were a little spicy but it didn’t over power the overall flavor of the other ingredients. The Mango TacoTruck has bomb tacos! Stop by there if your ever in Bush International Airport.
United Airlines called to board came over the loud speaker and then I proceeded to the terminal. As I am walking to the terminal I realize how it has become second nature for me to be in an airport. It feels like I almost live there. After boarding the plane I lifted my window lid, placed my head on the pillow then gazed outside until take off. I basically slept through the whole flight and landed in New Jersey where the weather was rain.
Arriving in New Jersey was just as I left it. A few buildings changed but a few things remain the same. My friends, my family, and the food! The first stop was to my vehicle and then Chipotle. I don’t think anyone loves that place more than me. I ate then relaxed at my hotel. That was probably the most rest I got between taking care of auto business, life business, and having appointments with loved ones. I meant to legally change my name while I was home but I didn’t have enough time.
The last day of being in New Jersey was the hardest. I cried all the way to the airport and on the plane. I was happy and sad at the same time. I was happy God had blessed me to reunite with all whom have still remained present in my life but sad because I had to leave them all again so soon.
My Jersey trip was amazing and was filled with so much love. It gave me comfort to know that so many people showed love and remained loyal to our friendship. It was so hard to say goodbye to them but it was easier knowing that one day we will meet again.
Life has changed so much for me since 2012. I have become a world traveler, a wife, and well you’ll see. I always have a few surprises up my sleeve.
xoxo
