R&B Diva’s LA! I LOVE This Show! (VIDEO)

I just watched R&B Diva’s LA and I must say I do love this show!

The new divas consists of Lil Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Dawn Robinson, Michell’e, Chante’ Moore and Kelly Price. The show kicks of with Kelly Price asking the fellow diva’s to participate in a showcase. The last showcase Kelly did was when we lost the late great Whitney Houston.

After the death of Whitney Houston Kelly didn’t want to do it again but now she feels it is the perfect time to pick back up where she left off.

In between the showcase we got to know small tidbits of where our favorite R&B stars had been. Chante’ Moore talks about her going through a divorce with her second husband Kenny Lattimore whom she was married to for the last ten years.

While shopping with Lil Mo Chante’ revealed that this was her second failed marriage. Moore didn’t go into the details of the separation but she did say she was still angry. She said maybe in time that would change and the anger would float away. Lil’ Mo also said she was on her second marriage but she didn’t say what happened to the first.

Then it was a very interesting scene between Claudette Ortiz former member of the group City High and Dawn Robinson. While at lunch Dawn asked casually “What happened to the group?” Ortiz looked defeated at the question then muttered “I hate reliving this”. She explained that Robbie Pardlo of City High had a serious alcohol addiction and he was abusive towards her.

Ortiz said that other group member Ryan Toby was always a good friend and that friendship grew into a relationship. The two eventually got married but then divorced three years later. Ryan and Claudette had two sons together and she has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Other spoilers that were exposed are Dawn of En Vogue wants to have a child, Chante’ Moore is in for a custody battle, the drama may kick up between Lil Mo and Dawn, and more. In case you missed the first episode you can watch below. JIN will be covering this show!
