“I don’t want to judge Porsha’s relationship, because I obviously don’t live with them. I can only tell you what these eyes and ears hear and see. I watch the show just like you do, so based off everything I’ve seen and heard myself, it appears that Kordell is talking to his daughter and not his wife! Porsha can’t seem to do much without getting permission from Kordell. This is not my relationship, so if Porsha likes it, I love it, and I really don’t give a sh–– what Porsha and Kordell do!”
On March 15, Kordell revealed on Twitter that he would not be appearing on the series’ reunion show to rehash the season’s events.
“#RHOA Reunion I had other obligations booked wks prior to #RHOA submitting taping schedule & cannot participate. #Support @PorshaDStewart,” he wrote.
On Tuesday, a statement was released on behalf of Porsha concerning the divorce.
“Mrs. Stewart is disappointed about her husband’s recent filing for divorce. Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her. Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media. Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith,” it said.
Another issue between the couple that played out on the show’s storyline was Porsha’s desire to have children while maintaining her philanthropy career, but Kordell felt she had to choose one or the other.
The couple has no children together.
