Recap of Love and Hip Hop: Mendeecees Turns Himself In!

Monday night’s episode of Love and Hip Hop was a very tearful and non-descriptive. The show focused on Mendeecees Harris legal woes and the effects it was having on his family. They also show Yandy Smith telling him that the relationship needs to go a step further. Harris never really gave an answer to her proposal he basically escaped it.

Mona Scott has a very good way of hiding the fact that he is on trial for allegedly being a Maryland drug lord. When they captured Harris explaining to Smith what he had done he simply said it was something from the past that had to do with drugs. Smith then calls her best friend Kimbella down to the studio where she didn’t openly say what was wrong she just cried.

I would be crying to if I just had a new baby and my significant other could possibly do 20 years in jail for drug trafficking. One of the tear jerking moments was when Harris was having a conversation with his son in reference to his possible incarceration. He told him “I might be going away for awhile” and then his son replied “Why won’t you be around dad?” which Harris never answered. All you saw was tears from this little boy who in an instant been devastated.

The show ended with a dreadful ride in the car to the courthouse where Harris turned himself into the FEDS.Harris has pleaded not guilty to this crimes and is awaiting trial. I hope this works out for Yandy because raising a son with the father in jail is hard. I sympathize for the children.
