Spotlight: "Good Morning" Majiq & Keyvauna Leshea

Who says you have to miss Floetry when New Jersey has Majiq & Keyvauna Leshea. As I listened to the track “Friday” I immediately started to nod and pat my feet. I think these artists have a pure understanding of the future of R&B.

As we all know the genre is changing rapidly with artists like The Weeknd and Jhene Aiko. The sound is becoming more “trippy”. I coined the name Trip & B due to it’s new sound. Just like these artist their music is chill. The “Good Morning” track is something you can listen to while taking a drive with your boo or having a great conversation with your friends. It’s really upbeat and just feel good music.

The track just feels good to the ear. On their SoundCloud they have many other joints like “One Way” and “Feelin it”. In my opinion the producer who understands their sound the most is the Sound off Squad. The song “Feelin’ It” gives me a K.P. and Envy vibe. It is obvious that these ladies were inspired by the best time in music the 90’s and early 00’s.
