Musician and Author Tena Williams A.K.A. “Lady Flava” began singing in her church choir as a little girl in Jamaica and continued when she migrated to the United States at the age of 10. She began writing songs at the age of 16. Reggae, R&B, and Rap. Tena began recording professionally in late 2006. Tena Williams is also the CEO of the Finding Peace Campaign Corporation a non-profit organization designed to benefit victims of abuse and others in need of food, clothing, shelter, training, counseling, and more.
Tena Williams goes by artist name Lady Flava and her first album was entitled “Mixed Emotions”. The album contained songs sweet love, Riding in my Audi, I lied dat was wrong, Gotta have you, No come back in a mi life, Shump, Slappy Slappy, Feed me love, and Mine you business gal. The hardcore Reggae track “Slappy Slappy” was first played on Black roots radio and several other radio stations in England. Her song “Slappy Slappy” is a domestic violence song dedicated to all the women in the world that have experienced or who is against domestic violence.

Lady Flava performed her songs “Slappy Slappy” and “Gotta have you” on the Benny Negro show in Harlem, NY on June 3, 2010. This talented Musician and Author released her first book entitled “Finding Peace” after a life of sexual, mental, and physical abuse” on November 21, 2010. She is currently writing her new book “My Journey after finding peace” to be released in the near future. Tena Williams aka Lady Flava appeared on the what’s new what’s hot cable vision show in Brooklyn, NY and the Real talk chronicles show with Bill Foster in 2011. Lady Flava also appeared on several radio shows as a guest including CBS radio morning show on Hot 93.7 with Nancy Barrow. Lady Flava will be releasing new singles soon which includes remake of her song “Riding in my Audi” feat. Dante Bacote of West Haven, CT, “Chillin with my peepz” feat. Lamar Thomas aka Doe boy.
