The Lavigne Life Starts a War! Was it Worth it? (VIDEO)
YouTube is supposed to be a place for fun, possible come up, and networking. Well a few days ago The LaVigne Life turned YouTube into a war zone!
Jennybelly1983 has a small YouTube channel that promotes early education for children with a splash of cooking tutorials. Jenny’s daughter stands in as the star. She is a super cute, spunky, smart kid who reads. Did I mention she isn’t even five years old yet?
Although impressive Jennybelly1983 has left some comments under YouTube favorite The Lavigne Life’s page that she felt were unwanted. Apparently Jenny critiquing the youtuber’s parenting style, husband, mother, and children are off-limits.
Dee who is the star of the channel is a fitness blogger/vlogger. She is engaged and a mother of two really cute children. I must admit I didn’t watch her channel prior to the feud but as a reporter I had to see what exactly was going on.
After seeing countless negative comments and thumbs down to Jenny’s videos I had to see the LaVigne Life’s response video. Well I watched The LaVigne life diss video and I must admit It was not Ms. Dee’s finest hour. Start the video 8:25 seconds for the diss.
Dee insulted Jenny, her daughter, and husband. By creating disrespectful photoshopped photos, calling Jenny man-hands, and then saying the diamond on Jenny’s ring finger was too small. She also took to her instagram with this message below that has since been removed.
Let’s not forget the endless combinations of “bitch” insults. As a youtuber this got me to thinking. Was it really worth it? What did Dee really gain from trying to internet flex to a chick she will probably never see?
So here is my take on theĀ matter. I think that sometimes on YouTube our emotions get the best of us and we don’t remember exactly what we are doing when we feel insulted. YouTube and all social media are a cesspool of negative comments.
That is why we have the block and ban options on these social media accounts. These measures could have taken before going all emo on a video. Why let the comments continue if you have these options? Marketing? New show idea? Maybe more subbies? Whatever her reason was, all I know is she had other options to handle it more quietly by using the block or ban.
All The LaVigne Life did was make Jenny’s comments relevant to the world. So relevant that the argument was picked up by popular YouTube gossip site Lipstick Alley.
I don’t know who manages the LaVigne Life but they should have been told feeding into issues only brings publicity to the unknown. As I listened to the endless gun shots for dramatic effect and insults I discovered her need to try convince the viewers of her lack of care.
Oh you care sweetheart because if you didn’t the video would have never seen the light of day. You’ve allowed this person who isn’t a reason in your life to make you so uncomfortable that you came out of character in the worst way. In those moments Jenny owned you.
I am a youtuber and I don’t have as many subscribers as The LaVigne Life however if I don’t like what people say I block or ban them. I will never allow someone who is not feeding me, fucking me, or paying my bills to raise my blood pressure.
I think when you reach a certain level of fame your skin just needs to be thicker. Honestly your skin has to be thick to do this YouTube thing period. People will always have something to say and will always disagree with your life. You can’t fight everyone.
By choosing this as a source of income you already know it comes with the territory. Nothing should come before your brand. That’s business 101 hun. The more successful you are the more commentary comes.
Everyone is not going to like you. People will subscribe to your channel just to hate on you and call you names. That is the game family. You can’t just make response videos to people when you’re a brand. The money always comes first Mrs D LaVigne.
As far as Jenny is concerned she has the right to her opinion. No matter how gutter or honest it is. That is the way of the world. It doesn’t make it right but as long as she has internet it will happen. Not just from her but others. I am sure whatever Jenny wrote probably could have used a little more tact but the internet is fucked up.
People could careless how your feelings are hurt by something you have willingly exposed to others. I have been called names, my marriage has been questioned, and all that but I refused to let people get me this upset.
Instead of us being catty why don’t we just live on our sides of the tube and continue to do our own thing.
There is no need for cyber bullying or making gun shot videos when you know your not about that life. One more thing ladies keep it cute and don’t talk about each others kids. Children are innocent and have nothing to do with grown people.
I hope my blog post can bring peace to a hostile situation. Good luck to both women and their channels.

Exactly, why can’t we just simply watch for mere entertainment and just live and let live. Why get so hot and bothered by the way youtubers choose to live their life? To the point where you attack their character, their kids and family members too? People are so quick to judge harshly, point out their flaws and or mistakes. For what? You judge them because they sin differently than you? And you are right about Dee needing to have thick skin and putting her brand first. She definitely should not have stooped to Jenny’s level. Dee and every other youtuber who are forced to deal with people like Jenny should know this saying, “Judging a person does not define who they are, it defines who you are.”
People, you can have an opinion without being hurtful, disrespectful and without thinking that your opinion is the gospel.

This Owl you are so right and people need to just do their YouTube thing and just get along. I mean all the back and forth is insane and doesn’t solve anything.
